Horsepower…Moving Fast
Sam has had a passion for very fast high performance cars and trucks
since he was a child. That passion still burns very bright and strong
within Sam today. Over the years Sam has owned and built some impressive
cars and at any point in Sam's life he is either working on a car
or meticulously planning what he will be building next. Sam likes
the challenge of continually creating ways to make his muscle cars
run faster and produce more horsepower while still maintaining a
level of street ability.
Through the years Sam's hobby has grown into a high performance
passion. Because Sam prioritizes the majority of his time and energy
towards his real estate business Sam tends to take a bit longer
to complete his muscle car projects but when he finishes them they
are very fun and extremely fast.
S-10…Sam Can Haul The Groceries
It started out as a fairly rough 6 cylinder truck that was coming
to the end of it's useful life. Sam thought this little truck would
be an excellent candidate for a V-8 conversion because the S-10's
are pretty light and lighter means faster. The S-10 originally was
built with a 671 roots supercharger with a 355 small block and a
nitrous port system but later gave way to a nitrous injected small
block 406 that is pump gas friendly and now makes over 850 horsepower
at the flip of a switch. Sam enjoys driving his truck to the race
track and then running faster than most of the all out race cars
and then he simply drives it home. The truck has run in the high
5's at our Pacemakers 1/8th mile drag strip in Mount Vernon and
at Dragway 42 in West Salem it regularly runs 9.40's at 143 mph.

Malibu…You'd
Never Be Late Driving This Car
This car started out with the idea that it was going to be a fun
cruiser that Sam's wife Carol might drive every now and then. Well
after they started dismantling the car they determined that that
front frame was nearly non existent and the damage was so severe
that they just pulled the body off the old frame and a full tube
frame was contracted to a close friend of Sam's. This car ended
up with very few original parts beyond the body and a few interior
pieces…the rest was either replaced or custom fabricated.
The Malibu is an extreme car that merges full on race car dynamics
with street tires, a full exhaust and functional windows that actually
roll up and down. You won't find any creature comforts such as A/C
or leather seats because this car is all about one thing…getting
from A to point B really FAST. This one is powered by a 572 cubic
inch Chevy big block with custom big chief pro stock cylinder heads.
This engine made 991 horsepower on Kaufman Racing Engines Superflow
901 dyno. The engine is easily capable of making 1500+ horsepower
with the direct port nitrous fogger system. Sam's goal with this
car is to be able to run an 8 second quarter mile pass and still
being able to drive it on the street for car shows and cruise events.

1984
Vette…Started Out Sad But Soon To Be Rad
Sam has owned a couple Corvettes through the years but he has never
owned one that was as sad as this one. This car smelled bad, ran
worse and overall it just wasn't in very good condition. However,
Sam has always loved the design of the 1984 to 1996 C4 Corvettes
because the engine is positioned much further back in the car compared
to a 1969 Camaro making the C4 Corvette a much better hot rod. This
car will be getting a 406 small block Chevy, a clean interior and
a nitrous system. This car should be capable of running 10's in
the ¼ mile and be a fun car for Sam when he is not busy selling
real estate.
